Perseus Development Corporation Launches SurveySolutions Enterprise Service

BRAINTREE, MA (August 16, 2000) - Perseus Development Corporation, the industry leader in web-based survey research, software, and services, has announced the Enterprise Service, a fully-integrated, web-survey research solution. This new service is designed to help companies effectively use the Internet to collect survey data from prospects, customers, and employees for critical decision-making.

The Enterprise Service is a combined service of several components: desktop survey design tools, web-based analysis and reporting services, research consulting support, technical support services, and access to research information, resources and training. It is based on the latest Internet technology and the highest levels of customer service.

Survey Design and Implementation
Survey design is completed using SurveySolutions Professional, Enterprise Edition which is a Windows (TM) application that provides users with a word-processing interface for survey design. Questionnaires can be easily imported and exported to other word processors for review and editing or sent via email for review by team members before being published to the Web. Research techniques Enterprise offers include single and multiple page surveys, password security, duplication control, intelligent branching, response validation, answer piping, drilldown questions, rotations, randomizations, allocation questions, and ranking questions. Once the survey is completed, results are collected on the Perseus Enterprise server and stored in an SQL database which is segmented for each client and secured by user identification and password protection. Results are available instantly for analysis and reporting and can be displayed in tables or graphs.

Advisory & Consulting Support
Since user survey requirements can change during the year or new design or delivery functionality may be required on future research efforts, the SurveySolutions Enterprise Service includes advisory and consulting support. This might include assistance with advanced survey development incorporating complex skip patterns or advanced validation; or perhaps support for interpreting and reporting survey results including statistical analysis and custom report writing. The Enterprise Service is licensed on an annual subscription basis and is customizable.
