Carl Henning Joins Perseus Development Corp. as Vice President of International Operations
Braintree, MA (October 22, 2003) - Perseus Development Corporation, the industry leader in web-based survey research, software and services, has appointed Carl Henning to Vice President of International Operations. Mr. Henning will be responsible for creating and managing an international presence for Perseus and managing the international sales network through distribution channels, resellers, and joint ventures, including the delivery of support, training, and services.

Mr. Henning joins Perseus with more than 10 years of global software marketing experience with extensive hands-on experience in sales, service, support, training, marketing, technical, and executive management. He has a strong background in both technical and marketing disciplines. Prior to his position at Perseus, he was Vice President of Marketing for Panoramix Services where he was responsible for marketing Panoramix services for industrial automation marketing consortiums. Prior to this, he was Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Avantis Business Unit of software developer, Wonderware Corporation. In this position, he led a business unit that sold software and services through direct sales staff and channel partners. He established a highly successful action plan to improve sales and support that increased customer satisfaction from 34% to 100% in 15 months.
Mr. Henning's career also includes management positions with Lanex Corporation, Eurotherm Controls, Inc., and NRM Corporation. He has developed and administered a systems integrator program and an educator program. He has led distributor contract development, new product roll outs to distributors, and has arranged localization of products and manuals.
Mr. Henning begins his new role with Perseus in October. He will be based in Braintree, MA.
